Healthy High Protein Ranch Dip (no mayo)

This Healthy Homemade Ranch Dip (high protein) is creamy, tangy, and packed with flavor. Made with Greek yogurt and sour cream, this is a lighter healthier twist on the classic we love. This homemade ranch dip takes just a few minutes to mix up with easy ingredients, and is great for game day, snacking, or adding to your favorite meals!

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl - for mixing ingredients.
  • Measuring cups and spoons - for measuring ingredients.
  • Whisk or spatula - for combining ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup (60g) sour cream
  • ½ cup (120g) full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) lemon juice or white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons water, milk or buttermilk to thin

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice (or vinegar) until smooth.

  • Add all the dried herbs and spices: garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
    1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon dried dill, ½ teaspoon dried parsley, ½ teaspoon dried chives, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    Add spices to dip.
  • If you prefer a thinner consistency more like dressing for drizzling, stir in water, milk or buttermilk, 1 teaspoon at a time.
    Optional: 1–2 teaspoons water, milk or buttermilk to thin
    Mix dip until smooth. Adjust with liquid if needed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for later. Happy snacking!

Notes

How to Store:

Refrigerator- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Stir before serving, as the yogurt can separate slightly.
